The Constantia wine region is South Africa’s oldest wine-producing area, located just south 20 minutes outside of Cape Town, known for its cool climate and historic Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia estates. Established in 1685, this wine region produces a range of wines, including crisp Sauvignon Blancs, Bordeaux-style reds, and revived sweet dessert wines like the famous Vin de Constance.
Guests will visit two wineries for wine tastings, followed by a delicious picnic lunch in the afternoon at a local winery, such as Buitenverwachting Wine Estate.
